Marissa Dyer

Marissa Dyer, an Idaho native, has a Bachelors degree in Voice Performance from Idaho State University, and a Masters degree in Opera Performance from The Longy School of Music of Bard College. She has performed with various opera and theatre groups, including the Boston Opera Collaborative and the Lowell Opera House in Massachusetts, and the Old Town Actors Studio in Idaho. She has held lead roles in many operas and musicals, and performed as a concert soloist in several choral performances across the country. Marissa maintains a private voice studio, and enjoys teaching students of all ages both virtually and in person.
Not only is Marissa is a passionate performer and teacher, she's an energetic mom who loves singing and dancing with her young toddler in and around Washington, DC. After enjoying Music Together classes with her son, she completed the teacher training program in 2024, and is thrilled to bring her love of music to our Music Together families.
