Ruth Abramovitch

Ruth Abramovitch, known as "Miss Ruty" to her young students, holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, a Bachelor of Arts in Hebrew Education from Machon Greenberg College in Jerusalem, Israel; and a Master of Social Work from the University of Law and Social Studies, Buenos Aires Argentina. Before coming to Music Together, Ruth has worked as a foreign language, drama, and classroom pre-kindergarten teacher in pre-schools located in Argentina, Israel, and Fairfax, Virginia. A creative and talented educator, Ruth is fluent in both Spanish and Hebrew, as well as English. She uses her language and musical skills to inspire and encourage learning in each child she encounters.

What do her students say about her?

She was initially hesitant about the new class environment, but quickly became comfortable with her peers and surroundings and transitioned to an active class participant.
