Linda Criscitello

Linda Criscitello earned a bachelor’s degree in Theatre from the University of California at Irvine and a master’s degree in Deaf Education from Gallaudet University in Washington, DC. Professionally, Linda enjoyed a career in musical theatre, touring in productions of 42nd Street, West Side Story, A Chorus Line, and Singin’ in the Rain. In 1996, while living in New York City, Linda attended Music Together classes with her son. She immediately fell in love with the program, which inspired her to complete the Music Together Teacher Training program. After moving to Northern Virginia in 2002, Linda founded Music Together Sing and Groove in Vienna, where she directed and taught classes until her retirement in July 2023. She not only shares her musical talents with the very young— she currently teaches Tap to school-aged kids at Cuppett Performing Arts Center in Vienna, and has taught dance to a group of 65-88 year-old women called the Diamond TappersWhen she's not singing and dancing with our Music Together families, Linda values time spent with her husband Doug and their three adult children, Sammy, Kyle and Lyndsay.
