Join Us for a Music Together® Class

Fun. Fabulous. Uplifting. Magical. These are just a few of the ways that parents describe Music Together. Each week in Music Together classrooms around the world, babies, toddlers, preschoolers, big kids - and the grownups who love them! gather to make music as a community. Our Mixed Ages early childhood music classes give families with children from birth through age 5 the chance to get in touch with their inner musician and connect with other families.  Our newest Music Together offering- Rhythm Kids Online- is a perfect opportunity for your 4-5 year olds and K-2 graders to develop their rhythmic developement and express themselves.

We're on a mission to make the world a better place by making it more musical. And you can be part of it by joining one of our music classes- from both the safety of your own home, and shady outdoor locations!

Hello, Everybody!

Music Together is an early childhood music and movement program for children ages birth - five and their parents or caregivers.   Developed in Princeton over thirty years ago, it has grown to become one of the leading childhood education programs in this country and abroad. Each week, from the "Hello Song" to "Goodbye, So Long, Farewell" we will sing, dance, play instruments, and enjoy making music with you and your young child.

Music Together is offering classes online and outdoors this fall, in reaction to the current global health crisis.  With health officials recommending that we remain socially distant from one another,  we are responding by developing a way to bring our musical experiences to you inside your home, where your family can enjoy singing and dancing with your favorite teacher all week long using online platforms like Zoom and You Tube.  Some of our in-person locations are moving our Music Together classrooms outside! Registration for our classes at the Lubber Run Amphitheater opens on August 12.  Registration for our classes at Cherry Hill Park is run through the Falls Church Community Center.

All of us at Little Steps Music are looking forward to a musical fall with Music Together Online!  Our new semester will feature the Bongos collection, which includes favorite songs like "Palo Palo," "Funga Alafia," and "See How I'm Jumping."  In addition to your weekly Zoom or outdoor classes, tuition includes a cd and songbook with beautiful color illustrations for each song which will be mailed to your home, a newsletter full of resources and music-making ideas, and digital, downloadable access to the music and bonus activities.  Register now to save a spot in your favorite class!

In the event of natural disaster, community crisis or other unforeseen circumstances requiring the closure of our class locations, we will make every attempt to offer make up classes, but will not refund classes that are canceled for reasons beyond our control.

We enjoy serving all of the families in the Capitol Hill, Georgetown, Chevy Chase, McLean, Falls Church, and Arlington communities....and we hope that we can soon welcome you to our Music Together family!
